	Career Cook – Excellent Tip-Out & Full Benefits Réunion Bistro \| Morriston, Ontario $20–$23/hour starting pay, based on experience, plus kitchen tip-out recently averaging approximately $10/hour. At that recent tip average, combined wages and tips work out to roughly $30–$33/hour. Tips vary and aren’t guaranteed. Full-time, 35+ hours per week. Mondays and Tuesdays off. Health, dental and vision benefits with premiums paid 100% by us after three months. We’re looking for an experienced cook who wants to keep learning, become part of our team, and build a long-term career at Réunion. We’re an independently owned bistro in a historic building in Morriston, near Guelph and Cambridge. Our food is French-inspired, with flavours from Asia, the Creole kitchen and beyond. Much of our menu is made from scratch: slow braises, house-made sauces, pork belly, curries and crêpes. You’ll cook for brunch, lunch and dinner, with private events, patio service and speakeasy nights adding variety. There’s plenty to learn here—and room to bring something of your own to the kitchen. What we offer - A meaningful share of the tips. Kitchen tip-out has recently averaged approximately $10/hour, on top of your base wage. - 100% employer-paid benefit premiums. What you’ll do - Prepare ingredients and dishes across our menu. - Set up your station, organize your prep, and manage orders during service. - Keep flavour, cooking and presentation consistent. - Follow food safety practices and keep your workspace clean and organized. - Work with the team during restaurant service, private events and speakeasy nights. What we’re looking for - Professional kitchen experience and the ability to work independently during service. - Pride in your cooking, good organization, and reliable attendance. - Clear communication and a willingness to help your teammates. - An interest in learning our food and developing your skills. - Availability for daytime, evening and weekend shifts, Wednesday through Sunday. - Reliable transportation to Morriston. Location 42 Queen Street, Morriston, ON, in Puslinch Township, near Highway 401. This is an in-person position; reliable transportation is important because we’re outside city transit routes.
